Ducklings pre-school follows the curriculum
guidance for the Early Years Foundations Stage, which
sets the standards for learning, development and care for
children
from birth to five. Play based learning is the focus for the
pre-school as it is understood that children learn most effectively
through first hand experiences in meaningful contexts; the
planning
and layout of the setting reflects this. There is room
for development
in play, which allows the children to extend
their
existing skills. Children are also
able through play to
use
their cognitive thinking and
consider theirs
and others emotional
well-being. |
